As part of the pioneering planning team, you will contribute your clinical expertise to help design workflows, optimize patient care protocols, and integrate advanced respiratory technologies. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary stakeholders to ensure our respiratory department meets the highest safety and clinical efficacy standards.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the strategic planning and operational setup of cardiorespiratory services at Eastern General Hospital.
- Collaborate with architects, clinicians, and hospital administrators to design efficient department workflows.
- Develop and implement evidence-based clinical protocols for respiratory care and patient assessment.
- Assist in the selection and procurement of high-tech respiratory equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Ensure that service designs comply with national healthcare regulations and SingHealth clinical safety standards.
- Develop training programs and onboarding materials for future respiratory staff joining the new hospital.
- Monitor and evaluate service development milestones to ensure timely facility readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or equivalent licensure/certification in Singapore.
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical experience in a hospital respiratory setting.
- Strong understanding of cardiorespiratory diagnostic testing and intensive care respiratory support.
- Proven ability to translate clinical knowledge into operational workflows and hospital planning requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary planning environment.
- Experience in hospital project management or service expansion is highly advantageous.
