Great Leo Medic Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and highly professional Retail Pharmacist to join our team in Cheras Batu 9, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient dispensing of prescriptions while ensuring that every patient receives comprehensive counseling on their medications. This position offers a competitive salary package between RM 8,000 and RM 12,000, reflecting the importance we place on quality pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription and non-prescription medications to patients while ensuring safety and compliance.
- Provide detailed clinical counseling to patients regarding dosage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Manage and oversee pharmacy inventory, including stock procurement, expiration date monitoring, and storage conditions.
- Ensure strict adherence to the Poison Act 1952 and other relevant pharmaceutical regulations in Malaysia.
- Conduct basic health screenings such as blood pressure monitoring and glucose testing for walk-in customers.
- Lead and mentor pharmacy assistants to ensure high-quality customer service and operational efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient records and medication profiles.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient therapeutic outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy recognized by the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia.
- Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia as a Fully Registered Pharmacist (FRP).
- Possess a valid Type A Poison License.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and supplement trends.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis, including weekends and public holidays as required.
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
