Responsibilities
- Design and optimize RF coverage plans for cellular and wireless networks.
- Perform site surveys, drive tests, and post-processing of RF data to identify coverage gaps and interference issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot base station equipment, antennas, and RF transmission hardware.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to implement network upgrades and expansion projects.
- Conduct link budget analysis and propagation modeling to ensure network reliability.
- Maintain technical documentation for RF designs, hardware configurations, and performance reports.
- Monitor network KPIs to ensure performance metrics meet SLAs and company standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in RF planning and optimization.
- Solid understanding of 4G/LTE, 5G NR technologies, and wireless propagation theory.
- Proficiency in RF planning software tools (e.g., Atoll, Planet, MapInfo, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of spectrum analysis and troubleshooting instrumentation (e.g., Spectrum Analyzers, Site Master).
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and network topology diagrams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for field site visits as required.
