Job Description
Pioneer Your Insurance, a trusted name in the Philippine non-life insurance industry, is looking for a dedicated Risk Surveyor to strengthen our operations in Makati City. As a Risk Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating potential risks for a diverse portfolio of insurance policies, ensuring that our underwriting decisions are both prudent and profitable.
Your primary responsibility will be to conduct detailed on-site inspections of commercial and residential properties, industrial facilities, and other assets to identify and assess risk factors. You will analyze structural integrity, fire safety measures, security systems, and other critical aspects to produce comprehensive survey reports. These reports will guide our underwriting team in setting accurate premiums and policy conditions.
We are looking for a candidate with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of non-life insurance principles. You should be comfortable working independently, managing your schedule for field visits, and communicating effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections of properties, businesses, and assets to evaluate risk factors for non-life insurance policies.
- Analyze data and compile detailed reports with findings and recommendations for underwriting decisions.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to assess risk levels and determine appropriate policy terms and premiums.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure all surveys meet legal requirements.
- Provide expert advice to clients on risk mitigation and loss prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of survey reports and client interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in risk surveying, insurance underwriting, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and survey-related software.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to survey sites.
