In this role, you will be the backbone of our automation operations, ensuring that our robotic process automation (RPA) solutions run smoothly, efficiently, and without interruption.
You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and end-users to troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and optimise robot performance. Your expertise will directly contribute to the reliability and scalability of our automation portfolio, helping clients across industries achieve operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the health of deployed RPA bots, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Provide first-line support for bot failures, exceptions, and system errors, performing root cause analysis and implementing fixes.
- Work with RPA developers to test, deploy, and update automation scripts in production environments.
- Document support procedures, known issues, and resolution steps to build a knowledge base for the team.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand user feedback and recommend process improvements.
- Assist in scheduling, executing, and validating automated workflows during off-hours if needed.
- Track and report key metrics such as bot uptime, error rates, and resolution times to management.
- Stay current with RPA platform updates (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) and suggest upgrades to improve stability.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in RPA support, operations, or administration.
- Proficiency in one or more RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere) – certification is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and basic database queries (SQL) is advantageous.
- Experience in ITIL or incident management processes is preferred.
