Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure strict adherence to DOSH/NIOSH standards.
- Lead architectural design reviews to ensure safety-by-design principles are integrated into all projects.
- Manage risk assessments, job safety analyses, and incident investigations to maintain a zero-harm environment.
- Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure full legal compliance.
- Prepare and present comprehensive safety reports and architectural progress updates to senior management.
- Coordinate with architectural and engineering teams to resolve design-related safety conflicts on-site.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must possess a valid Yellow Book (SHO) certification recognized by DOSH.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the construction or prefab manufacturing industry.
- Deep understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA 1994) and Factories and Machinery Act.
- Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools is a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while fostering a culture of safety across multidisciplinary teams.
