You will work closely with management to implement safety programs, conduct comprehensive risk assessments, and ensure full compliance with DOLE-OSHC regulations. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify and eliminate potential hazards.
- Develop and implement safety programs and protocols in accordance with DOLE standards.
- Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Facilitate safety orientations, drills, and training programs for all employees.
- Maintain accurate safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with the management team to enforce adherence to safety policies and workplace regulations.
- Coordinate with local health and safety regulatory bodies to ensure full legal compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) or COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) certification is highly preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, specifically regarding occupational health and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and reporting software.
