Join Our Team as a Safety Supervisor
LIANHETECH MALAYSIA SDN BHD, a leading player in the construction industry, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Supervisor to oversee and enhance our safety operations at our Tanjung Langsat, Johor site. Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop, deliver, and maintain safety training programs for all site personnel, including inductions and toolbox talks.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures.
- Coordinate with project managers and contractors to integrate safety into planning and execution phases.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, including permits, logs, and compliance records.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety protocols across all work areas.
- Lead safety meetings and promote a positive safety culture through communication and engagement.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field.
- Valid Green Book (registered with DOSH Malaysia) or equivalent safety certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety supervisory role, preferably in construction or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian OSH regulations (OSHA 1994, FMA 1967) and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams.
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
- Certification in first aid, fire safety, or environmental management is an added advantage.
