Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain relationships with an existing portfolio of marine and industrial sector clients.
- Provide expert technical advice on marine spare parts and industrial systems to ensure correct product application.
- Process sales orders accurately and coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams for timely delivery.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell technical solutions to existing accounts.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in product offerings.
- Resolve client inquiries, technical issues, and delivery concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare sales reports and maintain updated records in the CRM system to track account performance.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in technical sales, account management, or B2B sales within the marine/industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of marine spare parts, industrial systems, and vessel operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a 'farmer' sales mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
