Responsibilities
- Develop and qualify leads, conduct needs analysis, and propose tailored solutions to customers in Penang and surrounding areas.
- Present product features through demonstrations, handle objections, and close sales to achieve monthly targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain accurate records of activities and forecasts in our CRM; provide timely reports to management.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to implement promotional campaigns and optimize sales processes.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide excellent after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in retail or consumer-focused roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Proven ability to identify needs, overcome objections, and close deals.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office; data-driven with the ability to generate insights and reports.
- Fluent in English and Malay; additional language skills (eg Mandarin) are a plus.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Penang as required.
