Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets in the industrial automation sector.
  • Provide technical expertise and consultation to clients regarding automation solutions, components, and system integration.
  • Conduct professional product presentations and demonstrations for prospective customers.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.
  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
  • Collaborate with the internal engineering team to provide tailored solutions based on specific client requirements.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial inquiry through to contract negotiation and post-sale follow-up.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of current industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in technical sales, specifically within the industrial automation, factory automation, or robotics industry.
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA, or robotics).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and a results-oriented approach to sales.
  • Ability to travel frequently within the Northern region to meet clients.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to communicate in Mandarin is highly advantageous.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation.
