The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in FMCG sales, particularly within the Modern Trade channel. You will be responsible for executing strategic sales plans, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with retail partners to achieve monthly volume targets. This role requires a high degree of mobility, as you will be expected to conduct regular market visits and travel outstation to support regional growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop strong business relationships with existing Modern Trade key accounts.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales volume and distribution targets.
  • Conduct regular store visits to monitor product availability, shelf share, and competitive pricing.
  • Implement effective merchandising strategies to drive brand visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, market analysis, and forecasts to management.
  • Collaborate with internal logistics and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Willingness to travel outstation to manage regional accounts and market expansion activities.
  • Negotiate promotions and trade incentives with retail partners to maximize ROI.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Studies, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales, specifically within the FMCG or Modern Trade sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and retail metrics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Possess a valid driving license and own a vehicle for work-related travel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and travel outstation as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Result-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting challenging sales KPIs.
