Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the marine industry.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities and clients in the Singaporean marine sector.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business avenues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client support.
  • (For Team Lead track) Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior sales team members.
  • Regularly report on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience, with a strong preference for candidates from the marine, oil & gas, shipping, or heavy engineering industries.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with clients at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
