Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed team revenue targets for medical consumables.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and collective KPIs.
- Identify and penetrate new market segments, including public and private healthcare facilities.
- Manage key accounts and foster strong, long-term relationships with procurement heads, doctors, and medical directors.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and product performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and budgets for senior management review.
- Collaborate with product and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely delivery to clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales management within the medical device or consumables industry.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding complex sales targets.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing diverse, high-growth sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Deep understanding of the Malaysian healthcare regulatory environment and procurement cycles.
- Ability to travel frequently to visit clients and participate in industry exhibitions.
