In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted advisor to SME business owners, providing tailored financial solutions including secured loans, caveat financing, and bespoke insurance products.
You will be responsible for building a robust pipeline, managing end-to-end sales cycles, and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and prospect new SME clients within the West Region to build a sustainable sales pipeline.
- Conduct professional financial consultations to understand business needs and recommend appropriate loan or insurance products.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial lead generation and presentation to credit application and final closing.
- Prepare comprehensive financial proposals and caveat documentation for secured loan solutions.
- Foster long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure high retention and explore cross-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with internal credit and risk departments to ensure smooth processing of loan applications.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes in the financial services sector.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven sales experience in SME lending, property finance, or insurance sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial products, loan structuring, and credit assessment fundamentals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives and business owners.
- Result-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding aggressive monthly sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and standard office productivity tools.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail in documentation and financial processing.
- Relevant financial certifications (e.g., CMFAS) are a significant advantage.
