Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the assigned industrial territory.
- Provide expert technical consultation to clients regarding SCHUNK gripping systems, clamping technology, and automation components.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and industry research.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to influence decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial inquiry and technical specification to proposal submission and final negotiation.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to provide customized automation solutions that meet specific client requirements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage in the Penang region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the industrial automation or manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of factory automation processes, robotics, and industrial machinery.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM software and standard office productivity tools.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
- Ability to travel frequently to client sites within the northern region of Malaysia.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
