HTC Global Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SAP Authorization Consultant to join our growing team in Selangor. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our SAP security strategy, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and accessibility of our clients' enterprise systems. As a subject matter expert, you will design, implement, and audit complex authorization structures within SAP environments, ensuring alignment with global security standards and compliance requirements.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, BASIS administrators, and business stakeholders, to deliver robust security solutions that support business objectives while minimizing risk. Responsibilities
- Design and maintain robust SAP Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) structures using Profile Generator (PFCG).
- Conduct regular SAP security audits to identify risks, segregation of duties (SoD) conflicts, and unauthorized access points.
- Collaborate with business process owners to define authorization requirements and ensure compliance with internal security policies.
- Perform system troubleshooting for authorization-related issues, providing timely resolution to end-users and project teams.
- Implement and maintain SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools to automate access management.
- Coordinate with BASIS teams to apply security patches and support transport management related to security roles.
- Prepare and update comprehensive documentation, including authorization concepts, audit reports, and user training materials.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security and Authorization administration.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and Fiori authorization concepts.
- Proficiency in identifying and resolving Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts using GRC or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules (FI/CO, SD, MM, etc.) and their specific security requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to security management.
- Ability to work effectively in a contract-based, project-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
