As a SCADA Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) solutions for a diverse portfolio of industrial projects. While our primary work location is in Ubi, occasional site visits will be required. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement robust SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) software solutions for various industrial automation projects.
- Configure, test, and commission HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and SCADA applications to meet specific project requirements.
- Seamlessly integrate SCADA systems with a wide range of PLCs, RTUs, and other field devices utilizing standard industrial communication protocols.
- Develop and maintain real-time databases and historical data archives for operational data logging, analysis, and reporting.
- Perform comprehensive system troubleshooting, debugging, and fault resolution to ensure maximum system uptime and optimal performance.
- Create and maintain thorough technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, cross-functional engineering teams, and clients to understand requirements and deliver successful solutions.
- Participate in site acceptance testing (SAT) and provide essential post-implementation support to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of proven experience in SCADA system design, development, and implementation within industrial environments.
- Proficiency with leading SCADA platforms such as Wonderware System Platform, Siemens WinCC, Rockwell FactoryTalk View, or similar industry-standard software.
- Strong programming skills in languages like C#, VB.NET, Python, or similar for application development and scripting.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA/DA, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MS SQL Server) for data logging, trending, and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team in a dynamic project-driven environment.
