Job Description
TechVantage Solutions is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic engineering team in New York City. In this role, you will facilitate agile processes, coach team members, and drive continuous improvement across multiple high-impact projects.
You’ll collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of value, while fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives) to ensure effective sprint execution.
- Coach team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and self-organization techniques.
- Remove impediments and coordinate cross-functional resources to keep the team on track.
- Track and report sprint metrics, velocity, and burndown charts to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine the product backlog and prioritize work.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through retrospective actions and process optimizations.
- Support the adoption of DevOps practices and tooling for seamless delivery pipelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development environment.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) required; PSM II or SAFe certifications a plus.
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban frameworks, including user stories, story points, and velocity.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
