Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV feeds and alarm systems to detect unauthorized activities.
- Control entry and exit points, verifying identification and issuing visitor passes.
- Conduct routine patrols of premises to deter and identify security breaches.
- Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and safety hazards, coordinating with local authorities when needed.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs.
- Assist in emergency evacuation procedures and drills.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide courteous assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a security guard, officer, or in a related law‑enforcement role.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, access control systems, and surveillance equipment.
- Excellent observational and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively under pressure.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Valid Malaysian work permit and ability to pass background checks.
