Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Oracle-based applications using PL/SQL, Java/J2EE, and related technologies.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and efficient query writing.
- Integrate applications with external systems via RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standâups, and retrospectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
- Ensure code quality by adhering to coding standards, conducting code reviews, and implementing automated tests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, performing rootâcause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of handsâon experience as an Oracle Application Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and database design.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, or similar enterprise frameworks.
- Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP) and API integration.
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
- Excellent problemâsolving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills and experience liaising with business stakeholders.
