DSV Global Transport and Logistics is a global leader in transport and logistics, and we are looking for a talented Senior Application Support Specialist to join our Enterprise Platform Operations team in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of our critical enterprise platforms.
You will work alongside a vetted team of IT professionals, handling incident management, problem resolution, and proactive monitoring. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency of our global logistics operations.
Key responsibilities include providing Tier 2/3 support, managing platform incidents, collaborating with development teams for bug fixes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for enterprise applications and platforms, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests in a timely manner following ITIL best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.
- Monitor system health, perform regular maintenance, and coordinate upgrades or patches.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and runbooks.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical platforms.
- Assist in testing and deployment of new application releases and enhancements.
- Provide mentorship to junior support team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in application support, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise platforms, such as ERP, WMS, or logistics systems.
- Proficiency in SQL and database querying for troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with cloud platforms and automation tools is a plus.
