Responsibilities
- Assist senior mortgage brokers in managing loan applications from submission to settlement.
- Prepare and review loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian lending standards.
- Communicate with lenders, valuers, solicitors, and clients to facilitate timely loan processing.
- Maintain and update client records in CRM systems, tracking progress and follow-ups.
- Conduct preliminary credit assessments and gather supporting financial documents.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to gather information and provide status updates.
- Identify and resolve issues in loan applications, escalating complex cases to brokers.
- Ensure all files are compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Qualifications
- At least 2–3 years of experience as a broker assistant, loan processor, or similar role in the mortgage industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian mortgage products, lending criteria, and compliance regulations.
- Proficiency in mortgage CRM software (e.g., SalesForce, Infyniti, or similar).
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setup.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
- Must be willing to work Australian business hours (morning shift in the Philippines).
