Responsibilities
- Design & Strategy: Architect and implement secure, highly available, and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Migration & Modernization: Lead complex cloud migration projects and modernize legacy on-premise systems.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor cloud spend and implement strategies to reduce operational costs without compromising performance.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards (SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Collaboration: Partner with development teams to define technical specifications and review code for cloud best practices.
- Automation: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering or IT infrastructure, with at least 4 years in a Cloud Architect role.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep technical expertise in AWS and/or Azure.
- IaC: Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Containerization: Strong experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker.
- Networking: Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, Load Balancers, DNS).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
