Responsibilities
- Lead the full software development lifecycle for FinTech applications, from architecture design to deployment and monitoring.
- Ensure all systems adhere to PCI DSS, local regulatory requirements, and industry‑best security practices.
- Mentor, coach, and grow a team of developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product managers, security officers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
- Drive adoption of modern development practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure‑as‑code.
- Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and cloud services to optimize performance, scalability, and cost.
- Conduct code reviews, security audits, and performance tuning to maintain high‑quality deliverables.
- Represent the engineering team in cross‑functional meetings, providing technical insights and risk assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or managerial role.
- Proven expertise in building secure, high‑transaction FinTech or payment processing systems.
- Deep knowledge of PCI DSS standards, data encryption, tokenization, and secure coding practices (OWASP).
- Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Java, Go, or Node.js, and familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful/API design, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills; ability to thrive in agile environments.
