Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced operations research models to solve complex industrial logistics and supply chain challenges.
- Develop and deploy high-fidelity digital twins and simulation frameworks to optimize manufacturing plant performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional research teams to translate technical requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the Digital Manufacturing Division.
- Engage with industry partners to understand operational pain points and architect bespoke technological interventions.
- Lead R&D projects through the full lifecycle, from conceptualization and prototyping to pilot testing and deployment.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies, such as AI/ML, into existing simulation ecosystems to enhance predictive accuracy.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in simulation modeling, mathematical optimization, or industrial software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with simulation software (e.g., AnyLogic, Arena, Simio) and optimization solvers (e.g., Gurobi, CPLEX).
- Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, digital manufacturing, and IoT integration.
- Proven track record of managing technical projects and delivering solutions in a collaborative R&D environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly.
