Responsibilities
- Provide advanced clinical dietetic services, including nutritional assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for a complex patient caseload.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutritional care plans in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
- Lead and supervise a team of junior dietitians and dietetic assistants, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Drive quality improvement projects and clinical audits to enhance service delivery and patient safety.
- Contribute to clinical research and evidence-based practice initiatives within the department.
- Conduct specialized nutrition training and education for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure strict adherence to professional ethical standards, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from an accredited institution.
- Full and current registration with the Singapore Dietitians Association (SDA).
- Minimum 4 years of post-qualification clinical experience as a Dietitian in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical specialty (e.g., Oncology, Renal, Paediatrics, Critical Care).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills to engage effectively with patients and staff.
- Strong analytical and clinical reasoning skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in IT systems and electronic medical records.
