Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical nursing care to inpatient residents, ensuring all procedures are performed in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, reporting findings to the attending physician or care lead.
- Administer medications accurately as prescribed and maintain precise documentation in patient medical records.
- Support patient comfort and hygiene, including assistance with activities of daily living and palliative pain management strategies.
- Facilitate effective communication with family members, providing support and clear updates regarding the patient's care journey.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team, including doctors, therapists, and social workers, to review and update care plans.
- Ensure the highest standards of infection control and workplace safety are maintained within the ward at all times.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Nitec in Nursing or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Registered Enrolled Nurse with a valid Practicing Certificate.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in an inpatient, hospital, or palliative care setting.
- Strong clinical skills in wound care, medication administration, and routine monitoring.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment while maintaining a patient-centric focus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.
