Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end processing of Property & Casualty claims with a specialized focus on Healthcare insurance products.
- Evaluate policy coverage, liability, and quantum to ensure accurate and timely claim settlements.
- Maintain proactive communication with policyholders, intermediaries, and medical service providers to resolve claim queries efficiently.
- Monitor and manage reserve levels for outstanding claims in accordance with company underwriting guidelines.
- Prepare detailed claim reports and analysis to support departmental performance reviews.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including Underwriting and Finance, to streamline operational workflows.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance and internal claims handling protocols.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Insurance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Property & Casualty or Healthcare claims handling.
- Strong working knowledge of insurance principles, policy wordings, and claims legislation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with insurance management systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive client matters professionally.
