We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive/Executive, Claims Services to join our dynamic Claims team, specializing in Property & Casualty (P&C) and Healthcare claims. Responsibilities
- Manage and process a diverse portfolio of Property & Casualty (P&C) and Healthcare claims from initial notification to final settlement.
- Conduct thorough investigations, gather necessary documentation, and assess claims in strict accordance with policy terms, conditions, and company guidelines.
- Accurately interpret insurance policies to determine coverage, liability, and indemnity, ensuring fair and consistent claims decisions.
- Communicate proactively and empathetically with policyholders, intermediaries, and other stakeholders, providing clear updates and managing expectations throughout the claims lifecycle.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and third parties, aiming for optimal outcomes while adhering to regulatory requirements, service standards, and company philosophy.
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments (e.g., Underwriting, Legal) and external partners (e.g., loss adjusters, medical providers) to facilitate seamless claims resolution.
- Identify, investigate, and escalate complex or high-value claims to senior management, providing comprehensive reports and well-founded recommendations.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of claims processes, procedures, and service delivery to enhance overall customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Insurance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in claims handling, specifically within the Property & Casualty insurance sector.
- Demonstrated experience or a strong understanding of Healthcare claims processing will be a significant advantage.
- Strong knowledge of insurance principles, policy wordings, and local regulatory frameworks governing P&C and Healthcare claims in Singapore.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, coupled with an acute attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally and empathetically.
- Proficiency in using claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Relevant professional insurance certifications (e.g., CII, ANZIIF, BCP, ComGI, PGI) are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
