Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and adjudicate Property & Casualty healthcare claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate with medical providers, clinics, and hospitals to verify claim details and ensure accurate billing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by managing claimant inquiries and providing timely updates on claim status via digital and traditional channels.
  • Investigate suspicious or complex claims to mitigate potential fraud and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with the digital transformation team to enhance, test, and automate claims processing workflows.
  • Prepare detailed monthly claims reports and trend analysis for management review.
  • Participate in internal audits and ensure all documentation adheres to MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) guidelines.
  • Liaise with intermediaries and brokers to resolve disputes and clarify coverage interpretations.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Insurance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in General Insurance claims, specifically within Healthcare or P&C lines.
  • Professional insurance certifications such as BCI, ComGI, or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in claim assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive claimant situations with empathy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with modern insurance claims management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet strict KPIs/deadlines.
