Responsibilities
- Manage and process Property & Casualty claims related to healthcare, ensuring compliance with policy terms and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough investigations and assessments of claims to determine liability, coverage, and quantum.
- Liaise with policyholders, healthcare providers, brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient claim resolution.
- Analyze claim data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including reinsurers.
- Support the development and implementation of digital tools and workflows to enhance claims handling efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations, insurance practices, and industry developments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in claims handling, preferably in Property & Casualty or healthcare insurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with digital claims platforms and data analysis tools.
- Professional certifications (e.g., FCII, ANZIIF) are advantageous.
