Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive purchasing strategies based on production forecasts and inventory requirements.
- Proactively monitor supply chain metrics to identify and mitigate delivery risks before they impact operations.
- Negotiate terms and cultivate long-term relationships with key suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and superior quality.
- Manage end-to-end procurement cycles, from purchase order issuance to final delivery verification.
- Coordinate and document all procurement activities to ensure full compliance with ISO audit standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce material costs without compromising on quality or sustainability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with warehouse, production, and finance teams to streamline operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics sector.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Proven track record of successful vendor negotiations and cost-saving initiatives.
- In-depth understanding of ISO quality management systems and documentation requirements.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively manage multi-stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight delivery deadlines.
