Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily facilities operations for a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment for all occupants.
- Managing and supervising service contracts, including cleaning, security, maintenance, and landscaping, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Leading and coordinating M&E maintenance works, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify potential issues and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards (WHS).
- Managing the budget for facilities operations, including cost tracking, forecasting, and invoice verification.
- Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to maximize asset life and minimize operational disruptions.
- Managing renovation and fit-out projects from conception to completion, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Preparing regular reports on facility performance, incident management, and project status for senior management review.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management, preferably within a commercial or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, M&E services, and maintenance protocols.
- Experience managing budgets, vendor contracts, and project timelines effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Building Management Systems (BMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) or equivalent certification is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations with composure.
