Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and modern frontend frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software architecture and security.
- Manage database design, optimization, and migration to ensure system scalability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems to resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Communicate regularly with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that follows industry standards.
- Lead and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Open to Malaysian citizens only.
- Mandatory fluency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development with a strong focus on PHP.
- Deep understanding of modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
- Proficiency with frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Vue.js, React, or Angular).
- Solid experience with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and API development (RESTful, GraphQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and deployment processes via CI/CD pipelines.
