PERSOL is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Fund Operations Analyst to join a dynamic and fast-paced team in the East Region. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of mutual fund activities, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the highest standards of data integrity.
As a key member of the operations team, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to streamline workflows and mitigate operational risks. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is looking to leverage their expertise in fund administration to support institutional and retail investment products.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end processing of mutual fund transactions, including subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers.
- Perform daily trade settlements and ensure accurate reconciliation of fund accounts.
- Monitor and resolve operational discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Compliance, Legal, and Finance) to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
- Prepare and review periodic NAV (Net Asset Value) reports for accuracy and compliance with prospectus requirements.
- Support the team in onboarding new funds and executing lifecycle management tasks.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual touchpoints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Fund Operations, Asset Management, or Banking back-office functions.
- Strong understanding of mutual fund structures, trade lifecycles, and custody operations.
- Proficiency in financial software platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with diverse stakeholders.
