Responsibilities
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from seamless onboarding to impactful offboarding experiences.
- Act as a primary consultant for managers on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee and optimize the administration of comprehensive benefits programs and open enrollment cycles.
- Ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including EEO, FLSA, and FMLA.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and culture-building programs to maintain high retention rates.
- Utilize HRIS data and analytics to provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
- Support recruitment efforts by partnering with hiring managers to identify and attract top-tier talent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Professional certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of New York state and NYC local labor laws and regulations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
- Proficiency in modern HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, or ADP).
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
