We are currently seeking a highly adept and experienced Senior HR Specialist - Employee Relations (ER) to join our Human Capital team in Santa Cruz, Manila.
Position Summary:
As the Senior HR Specialist for Employee Relations, you will be the steward of our workplace culture and compliance. You will autonomously manage the full lifecycle of employee relations activities, including conducting objective and legally defensible investigations into complex issues such as misconduct, harassment, and policy violations; advising management on discipline, termination, and performance management to ensure strict adherence to due process and the Philippine Labor Code; and developing and implementing ER best practices and policies that minimize organizational risk and promote employee engagement.

Responsibilities
- Independently manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including conducting thorough, impartial investigations into complaints of misconduct, harassment, discrimination, and retaliation.
- Provide expert guidance and coaching to managers and executives on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and termination procedures to ensure legal compliance and consistency.
- Advise leadership on interpretation and application of company policies, the Employee Handbook, and the Philippine Labor Code.
- Prepare comprehensive and legally sound investigation reports, correspondence, and documentation for administrative and legal proceedings.
- Facilitate mediation and conflict resolution sessions between employees and teams to restore working relationships.
- Develop, review, and update Employee Relations policies, procedures, and programs to align with current laws and best practices.
- Conduct training for employees and leaders on topics such as code of conduct, respectful workplace, and grievance handling.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Legal Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or Juris Doctor is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or a similar HR role with a strong emphasis on investigations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code, DOLE Department Orders, and latest jurisprudence on employee discipline and termination.
- Proven experience conducting end-to-end administrative investigations and hearings.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English and Filipino, with meticulous attention to detail in legal documentation.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and conflict management skills. Highly impartial and ethical.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Preferably a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) or similar HR certification.
