Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding high-caliber medical and administrative staff.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution, grievance procedures, and performance management.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Malaysian employment laws, hospital policies, and internal standard operating procedures.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and retention within the clinical and non-clinical departments.
  • Oversee accurate payroll administration, benefits management, and compensation benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and facilitate professional development programs.
  • Maintain comprehensive HR documentation and HRIS data integrity to support executive decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in an HR generalist role, preferably within the healthcare or hospitality industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act 1955 and relevant labor regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak Mandarin/Hokkien is an added advantage.
