Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-performance and scalable Java applications from end-to-end.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using best practices and established design patterns.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Mentor junior developers, sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.
- Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending their adoption where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java application development.
- Strong proficiency in Java and extensive experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
- Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with various database technologies (SQL and NoSQL, e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, clean code, and testing methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team-oriented environment.
