Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex litigation cases, including representing the company before various courts and administrative bodies.
- Provide strategic legal advice to executive leadership on business operations, risk mitigation, and corporate governance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, ensuring maximum protection of company interests.
- Monitor and ensure organizational compliance with all relevant local and national laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement internal legal policies and procedures to streamline legal workflows.
- Oversee dispute resolution processes and provide guidance on settlement negotiations.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive legal opinions on emerging business issues.
- Collaborate with external counsel when necessary and manage legal budgets effectively.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a reputable law school.
- Must be a member of the Philippine Bar in good standing.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in litigation, corporate law, or a similar senior legal role.
- Proven experience in court representation and managing complex legal disputes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to provide practical solutions to complex legal problems.
