Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-fidelity simulation environments for training and evaluating machine learning models.
- Implement and optimize reinforcement learning algorithms in both simulated and real-world settings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define simulation requirements and integrate ML models into production systems.
- Conduct research on state-of-the-art simulation techniques and incorporate them into the platform.
- Improve simulation performance and scalability using distributed computing and GPU acceleration.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices.
- Analyze model behavior in simulations and iterate on architectures to enhance robustness and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field; Bachelor's with exceptional experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with at least 2 years focused on simulation.
- Strong expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with simulation platforms (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine, Gazebo, or MuJoCo).
- Experience with reinforcement learning, computer vision, or generative models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
