Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the facilities management team to ensure optimal performance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
- Oversee planning, execution, and completion of capital improvement and renovation projects, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, healthcare safety standards, and environmental sustainability goals.
- Manage vendor contracts, service agreements, and procurement for facilities-related services.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and business continuity measures related to facility infrastructure.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, cost control reports, and key performance indicators for facilities operations.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in energy efficiency, waste management, and green building practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP) preferred.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in facilities management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role within a healthcare or large institutional environment.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, healthcare regulations (e.g., JCI, MOH), and safety standards.
- Proven track record of managing complex engineering projects and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent budgeting, financial analysis, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and building automation systems (BAS).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and solve complex operational challenges.
