Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the medicine department, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with organizational goals and healthcare best practices
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance patient care quality, safety, and operational efficiency
- Manage departmental budgets, financial performance, and cost-control measures
- Ensure compliance with MOH regulations, JCI standards, and hospital policies
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to integrate operational solutions
- Analyze operational metrics and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Medicine, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8-10 years of healthcare operations experience with 3+ years in senior management
- Proven track record in process improvement, change management, and healthcare operations
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Expert knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and operational best practices
- Advanced proficiency in healthcare analytics and operational metrics interpretation
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities
- Certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Healthcare Management, or related field highly desirable
