Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of SAP HANA-based solutions, ensuring architectural best practices and scalability.
- Optimize database performance, including query tuning, index management, and memory management strategies.
- Manage and mentor a team of SAP HANA developers and data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including business analysts and solution architects, to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Drive the modernization of legacy SAP BW systems to SAP S/4HANA or BW/4HANA using in-memory computing technologies.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with global standards during data modeling and migration projects.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural reviews to maintain high code quality and reduce technical debt.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of at least 10+ years in IT, with at least 4-6 years specifically in SAP HANA development and architecture.
- Strong expertise in SQL, SQLScript, HANA Live Views, and Data Modeling concepts.
- Experience in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP BW on HANA is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant SAP HANA certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) is a strong plus.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and adapt to changing business requirements quickly.
