Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions.
- Define the strategic research roadmap and align project milestones with organizational business objectives.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of tech research projects, from conceptualization to prototyping and final evaluation.
- Cultivate relationships with strategic partners, vendors, and academic institutions to enhance research output.
- Analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for innovation.
- Manage the research department's budget, resources, and operational efficiency to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Present research findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in technical research, product development, or ICT project management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale research projects and cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (e.g., AI, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, or IoT).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts.
- Strong analytical mindset with a capability to solve complex problems under tight deadlines.
- Experience working in a fast-paced corporate or research environment preferred.
