Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all technical services and operations for a portfolio of diverse property assets, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Lead the planning, execution, and supervision of preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and asset enhancement initiatives.
- Develop and implement robust technical policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct technical due diligence for new acquisitions and support development projects, providing expert advice on M&E, structural, and architectural aspects.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate service contracts, and oversee the performance of external contractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and manage technical services budgets, ensuring prudent financial management and identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Implement sustainable practices and energy efficiency initiatives across properties to enhance environmental performance and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in technical services and property management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record in managing diverse property portfolios, including commercial, industrial, retail, or mixed-use developments.
- Strong understanding of M&E systems, building automation systems, structural components, and relevant building codes and regulations in Singapore.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience in overseeing asset enhancement initiatives and major repair works.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a technical team effectively.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems for facilities management and project planning.
