China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior/Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur. As a key player in our regional operations, you will be responsible for end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring that material acquisition aligns with our project timelines, budget constraints, and stringent quality standards.
In this role, you will act as a bridge between project requirements and supplier capabilities. You will leverage your expertise in market analysis and contract law to negotiate competitive pricing, mitigate supply chain risks, and maintain strategic partnerships with key vendors. Responsibilities
- Manage the full procurement cycle, from sourcing and RFQ generation to final contract execution.
- Conduct thorough price evaluations and market research to ensure cost-efficiency and project profitability.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with vendors to secure the best value for construction materials.
- Coordinate closely with internal project management teams to forecast material requirements and timelines.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring strict adherence to delivery schedules and quality specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement records and update the ERP system for accurate tracking.
- Identify and qualify new potential suppliers to diversify the supply chain and reduce operational risks.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in procurement, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong proficiency in contract negotiation and vendor relationship management.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and data.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu; proficiency in Mandarin is highly advantageous due to the nature of the organization.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
