The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is seeking a visionary Senior Product Manager to lead the Tech Products Division on a contract basis. As a senior leader, you will mentor junior product owners, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and act as the primary liaison between business, technology, and regulatory teams. Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with MAS’s digital transformation goals.
- Lead agile development teams as Product Owner/Product Manager, overseeing sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
- Collaborate with policy, legal, and compliance stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into feasible product specifications.
- Conduct market research, user interviews, and data analysis to identify opportunities and validate product hypotheses.
- Prioritise features based on business value, risk, and user impact, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality releases.
- Mentor and coach junior product managers and analysts, promoting best practices in product discovery and delivery.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and product metrics to assess success and inform iterative improvements.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and communicate progress to senior leadership and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of product management experience, preferably in fintech, banking, or government technology projects.
- Proven track record of delivering digital products using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, particularly those relevant to Singapore’s monetary authority.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence senior executives.
- Experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) and A/B testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI/ML, cloud computing, and open banking APIs.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent agile certification is a plus.
