Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap for the Vulnerability Rewards Program, aligning with Google’s security objectives.
- Collaborate with security engineers to refine vulnerability triage, validation, and remediation workflows.
- Design and optimize reward structures and incentive programs to attract top security researchers.
- Analyze program metrics and vulnerability trends to inform data‑driven decisions and continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, external researchers, and partner organizations.
- Ensure compliance with legal, privacy, and security policies while maintaining transparency with the researcher community.
- Drive communication initiatives, including researcher outreach, blog posts, and public reports on program impact.
- Mentor junior product managers and foster a culture of innovation and security excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in security, trust & safety, or platform services.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability disclosure, bug bounty programs, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into clear product requirements and roadmaps.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience using data to drive product decisions.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, comfortable engaging with technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience working in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments and delivering results under tight deadlines.
